Hatha
Yoga: Learn
stress-relieving techniques that will provide a deepened
sense of well-being. Practice stretching to tone and
strengthen the body. Uses gentle, slow movements to
focus on the body, mind, breathing and posture to improve
circulation, flexibility and stamina. Enjoyable and
beneficial for all fitness levels. Please bring yoga
"sticky" mat and water to class.
PM CLASS
Day: Monday AM CLASS
Day: Thursday Tai
Chi: Come and experience the Ancient Chinese
Martial Arts of Tai Chi. Learn to relax, improve
balance and flexibility, respiratory and cardio status
through gentle movements and breathing techniques.
Students will be studying the Traditional 108 Yang
Style Form.
Day: Saturday Burn and
Firm Pilates Emphasis
on breath, core conditioning and body awareness. A
safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and
streamline your body without building bulk or stressing
your joints. Develop a fitness routine for a
lifetime. Achieve body tone, feel revitalized and
move with ease. Please bring mat and water to class.
Day: Thursday PM CLASS
Day: Thursday Fitness Ball Training Emphasizing balance, control and stability; this course is intense and challenging for all fitness levels. You will strengthen and target not only yours abs, but also your mid-section and lower back. Additional concentration on upper body by incorporating weight training while maintaining balance on the ball. This is a class that you will definitely feel the next morning! Please bring 25" stability ball, hand-held weights and exercise mat to class. Day: Thursdays
